Kamand

Last Year’s Rocket · Level Two High-Power Rocket

Kamand was launched by the Aitchison College Rocketry Team as a Level Two high-power rocket powered by the in-house Delta-5 engine. The supplied feature records a top speed of Mach 0.5 and an altitude of approximately 1,200 metres.

The project brought propulsion, airframe design, systems integration and field testing together in a single student-led aerospace programme.

BARQ

This Year’s Rocket · ACRT Development & Delta-5 Engine

The Aitchison College Rocketry Team progressed from early water-rocket experiments to custom-built solid-fuel propulsion and high-power launch systems. Its Delta-5 J-class motor was developed and tested in-house using a dedicated thrust stand and ignition system.

The project emphasises self-reliance: major systems were designed, manufactured, tested and integrated by the student team.

RC Plane

Bakhtyara II

Built from lightweight foam and Depron sheet, the RC aircraft was designed for durability, agility and stable flight. Its aerodynamic form uses lift-focused wings, a streamlined fuselage and a carefully shaped tail section.

A brushless motor, LiPo battery, ESC and servo-controlled flight surfaces provide responsive control through a FlySky receiver and transmitter system.

Enigma Machine

A Complete Student-Built Cipher System

The project reconstructs the concept of the historic Enigma cipher device through custom mechanical design, electronics and firmware. Its enclosure, internal layout, printed circuit board and button matrix were developed specifically for the build.

A hand-soldered prototype evolved into a custom PCB and an LED-based cipher output system, producing a functional self-built encryption device.
